Education

Overview

My education has prepared me well for the instructional technology field. As a student at Chiles High School, I spent time outside of class helping teachers utilize computers and other technology. My senior year, I completed two externships in the education and technology fields, one with Chris Newcombe, Network Administrator at Rose Printing, Inc. and the other with Jesse Jackson, Director at Florida State University School (Florida High).

I graduated as a National Merit Scholar in 2006 and attended The Florida State Univeristy, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology in three years. Since graduating, I have been working on my teacher certification, gifted endorsement, and other educator training programs. I would eventually like to pursue a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology, possibly from The University of South Florida through their Distance Learning program.
