Problems/Solutions #4

We’re getting ready to wrap up the project, and it’s exciting to look back at all that we’ve accomplished. We’re really proud of our project plan (most of which is now available at http://www.davidschubert.net/digilit.php), our work breakdown schedule, and the curriculum that we’ve been developing.

Melissa recently informed us that there’s a student who’s already expressed interest in working on the Digital Literacy project next semester. We’ve contacted him and hope to share everything we’ve done in person so he can take off running in the fall.

The excitement of wrapping things up is bittersweet – although it’s stressful, the added pressure is helping us finish quickly. We’ve still had trouble communicating with Tallahassee Housing Authority, but our curriculum is nearly ready to be posted on the Digital Literacy project wiki and our project plan is essentially complete. Thanks for following our progress here. Be on the lookout for a final wrap up soon.

David Schubert worked as my Assistant in the Technology Department at Lawton Chiles High for two years, September 2006 to June 2008. He brought a large skill set to the job.
